This men’s silver ring is completely hand made, with skeleton of sterling silver wire under the fine silver hand sculpted form, to withstand the stress of life. It is oxidized and each is sculpted from the beginning, no casting is involved; each is truly one of a kind piece. The texture is from a thrift store saved sea star.
One day I walked past the window of our local thrift store and the sight stopped me dead in my tracks. The window was overflowing with all kinds of sea creatures. Corrals, sea stars, exotic shells, regular shells… Just like in the Aquarium. Except these were dead. It made me incredibly sad. I promised them I will rescue them, and I went into the store to put a bid on the whole lot.
A couple of weeks passed, they were gone from the window and I did not get a call that I won the bid... I went in to check, just in case, and they were still there!
This ring is about ¼” wide (6 mm), and can be ordered up to US size 11.5 within this listing. To order your size, put it in the notes to seller during the check-out process. It usually takes me about a week to make it, but I may have your size in stock. I will confirm that or shipping time in a convo. If you need it faster, please put that in the notes as well. For the eco conscious, you can feel good about wearing this ring it is made from recycled silver from old films and computer motherboards! Sterling silver comes from certified recycling source. Comes in a nice little hand made pouch, that I sew myself out of recycled fabric. No need to feel guilty about it. Truly eco friendly.
All my items are hand made, and as such not perfect, but that is the hidden beauty in all of us.
